The state of Indiana classifies wet paint as a hazardous material and unsafe for regular landfill placement. Sanitation will take your paint if it is completely dry (some people mix it with kitty litter).

One recycling Toter is provided per household. Contact the Portage Street Department and they will make arrangements for you to receive them. Homeowners may request an additional recycling toter at no cost. Additional trash toters cost $6 per toter per month. See the online form above or call the Street Department.
